The system has 4 channels per CPU with each 2 slots
Unbuffered and registered modules must not be mixed
The system is clocked with a maximum of 1066MHz if low voltage 1.35 V DIMM are used.
When Low Voltage 1.35 V and 1.5 V DIMMs are installed together in the system, all modules operate at 1.5V.
The memory configuration must be identical for each processor.

To upgrade your Server to 4GB or more, a 64-Bit
operating system is mandatory to for using more than 4GB.
e.g. even if 4GB are installed sometimes you might can not access
all memory capacity but 3,2 to 3,5GB in your operating system due to systemic reasons. Learn more about technical background.
