The offered compatible 4GB Server modules components are certified for your server ThinkServer RD220 and the functionality is guaranteed. Of course you can install these spare parts modules in combination with the already existing original modules by keeping the warranty.
Different capacities and modul manufacturer are able to be mixed within servern per bank,if not specified differently and as long as they Lenovo correspond to the strict specifications. CompuRAM-Modules do so.

To upgrade your Server to 4GB or more, a 64-Bit operating system is mandatory to for using more than 4GB.
e.g. even if 4GB are installed sometimes you might can not access all memory capacity but 3,2 to 3,5GB in your operating system due to systemic reasons. Learn more about technical background.
