The 16GB Server RAM listed have been certified by us for your ProLiant DL-Systems system. That means we vouch for the compatibility of the memory modules. CompuRAM memory modules can act like an original component to supplement RAM already installed or to be used as a spare part.
In compliance with the HP - HPE guidelines on memory upgrades, it is possible to run RAM modules from different manufacturers alongside each other in the same servers. Please note: The figures given in the product description for criteria such as speed and timings are the minimum specifications listed by HP - HPE and are provided for reference purposes only. For our modules we always use the most current and fastest DRAMs. That means, that we typically provide memory modules that allow an even higher timing than neccessary for your system. In the product specifications, we explicitly indicate whether these components have integrated error correction methods such as ECC RAM (Error Correctioning Code or Error Checking and Correction).
Retention of device guarantee and OEM quality for your HP - HPE ProLiant DL360 G7
If you install a CompuRAM memory module in your ProLiant DL360 G7 server, this does not affect the manufacturer’s device guarantee; most manufacturers mention this explicitly in their guarantee conditions. Your entitlement to a guarantee will therefore remain unaffected by when the slots and ports intended for hardware expansions are used appropriately.
By the way, CompuRAM memory modules are usually made the same manufacturer (OEM) as the original memory installed by the server manufacturer, e.g. HP - HPE. The technologies that are required for the safe running of a server are also integrated features to our 240pin DIMM DDR3 upgrades.
To facilitate the identification of the appropriate upgrades, we have additionally listed for the used of HP - HPE designation 500666-B21, 500207-071, 595098-001, 501538-001 here.
Making the best use of installed RAM
If you have 4 GB RAM or more installed in your ProLiant, you will need a 64-bit server operating system in order to take full advantage of this capacity. Here you will find an overview of maximum addressable RAM in all popular operating systems.
Fujitsu Siemens Computers, abbreviated as FSC, is the result of the merger of Fujitsu Computers Europe and Siemens Computer Systems and was the last computer manufacturer of international importance involving German participation. Until 2009, Siemens sold its shares to Fujitsu; today, the successor company "Fujitsu Technology Solutions" promotes its products under the brand name Fujitsu. The FSC portfolio includes mobile devices and notebooks as well as desktop PCs, servers, screens, mainframe computer systems and complete IT infrastructure solutions."
