Originally developed for educational institutions, Apple started to provide the desktop PC eMac G4 series to a bigger audience due to the increasing demand. Just like its predecessor, the eMac G4 is an early all-in-one model which means computer and screen in one casing. The PCs run on PowerPC G4 processors. With the launch of the newer iMac generations that have implemented Intel processors, Apple removed the eMac series of their product range in late 2005.
