Server memory upgrades for IBM Netfinity

The "International Business Machines Corporation" (IBM) looks back on a hundred year old tradition: IBM is the successor of the "Tabulating Machine Company", founded in 1896, which produced punch card devices that e.g. were used for data collection and counting during the census in the US in the 1880ies. Today, the company, located in the state New York, is one of the globally leading suppliers of hardware, software, IT services and consultation. IBM sells mouses and keyboards as well as workstations and enterprise servers.

The enterprise servers of IBM's Netfinity family are based on IBM's x-architecture which was specifically created for the management of rapidly growing volumes of data in the business segment. Netfinity is cluster-capable and interacts with other servers without problems. Moreover, these servers are equipped with various features that allow remote management and a quick error diagnosis, even when the system is switched off.
